Ok so I was interested in playing backups

    1. what is the best method you think to soft modding the cube? How many methods are there? I alreay have a BBA...DO I need Action replay?

    2. How Do I make a back up of my game saves from my memory card?

    3. If i use the PSO+ bba method, I hear I have to load PSO every time i do what?...Play a game?

It's been over 2 years since I tried the BBA/PSO method but yes, you have to load PSO every time, then stream your game. Only a few games I tried worked nicely, some are barely playable, some have screwed up sound, some will ramdomly freezes up and some won't even start up or are simply unplayable.

I used that method for a bit and got so sick of spending more time trying to get games to work than accualy playing them!
Recently got a XenoGC mod chip and replacement case and it works really good.
Take my advice, spend 20$, get a mod chip and make things 100 time better and easier!

The Xeno GC Chip good? Will it play backups of my original games?

Also how do you make backups with the Xeno GC? Are there any instructions on what is needed?

Well took a look at the chip. Looks REALLY SMALL. LOL. Guess it must be easy though to solder those few points on it.

As for backing up my originals I am still not sure how it is done with the Xeno GC. Just so you know I have the BBA with it if that helps.

    Thanks

XenoGC's been good to me, plays everything I throw at it, I've got like 30 games and they all work fine.
It can be hard to install depending on your soldering skills or if you have a fine point soldering iron (the chip is really small).
As for backups, I got a program that boots right off a DVD and backs-up games in about 7-8mins, real easy to use but I dont have the name here (think it might be GCOM).
Just make sure you use good quality DVDs for your backups (Ritek's best for me).
