ffdshow coflicts with Tiger Woods 06

I just installed tiger woods 06 for pc and when it starts ffdshow pops up in my quick start, then tiger woods flcikers then shuts off. When I uninstalled ffdshow, all was well. I need ffdshow to watch movies. Anything I can do to prevent this or stop this from happening?
