First let me start by saying for the last few days i have read hundreds of discussion in various areas on AD and i love the content i have found most every one seems to be very friendly and knowledgable. This is why i wanted to become apart of this website. I am very eager to learn all i can and appreciate all the help and your patients while working with me.... Anyway.... I have downloaded and installed ffdshow because from what i read it looked like it would help alot. However after the instal i cannot figure out what in the world to do with it. I do not know where to even begin. Please help explain the program to me or atleast how to even begin. Thanks in advance., Jon
ffdshow is mainly a directshow filter capable of decoding various audio and video formats. It also offers plenty of filters for de-interlacing, deblocking, etc. As well as a VfW interface for encoding. Also AVISynth and VDub plugins for image processing. What exactly are you trying to achieve?
