for some reason after i click encode using ffmpegX it won't save the file , so i have no idea where the file is being saved if it is being saved at all, but is there any other program i can use to convert avi/divx to mpeg2 files or what not???
how do you use toast to convert an avi file to mpeg to be viewed in a dvd player??? is there a guide somewhere thanks
holy smokes it takes forever in toast to convert an avi file (aprox 650 mb) to a dvd-video, would i get the same results if i converted it to a SVCD
i think ffmpegx will convert .avi files to a format tha tcan be burned to dvd (usually, mpeg-ts) but it hasnt worked very good for me yet....yes lox how can avi files be converted under toast? must be under dvd-video?
well i did that converting avi to dvd-video using toast but when i played the disc it had no audio except for this really loud beeping sound??? any suggestions
yes... audio to ac3.. drop the file into the video tab... toast 7 has a option for it under the video. they do take a while to convert/encode
