I know this might sound dumb to you elec. freaks out there but I read that I need a fibre glass pen for installing my mod chip. After reading the toutorial it doesn't tell me how I'm supposed to use the thing, but it does tell me that it's easy to mess up the motherboard, I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some info, thanks
People use the fiberglass pen to buff off the anti corrosive coating on the xbox PCB so the pad can make a better galvanic connection to the mod. I just used a jewelers screwdriver. You have to be extremely careful or you can easily scratch off a trace then you are in a world of hurt to fix it.
