fifa street 2 does not work with swap magic !

Look back on the previous pages to this discussion and you find that this game DOES NEED A PATCH to work with swap magic and thats why you cant make a straight forward copy that works.

 

I have tried running GNIE's patch v1.1 on my Fifa Street 2 ISO but it comes up with an error message "Code 2042p - Error!!! Opening C:\Documents...........\pal-fs2p\GNIE1"

Anyone know what i am doing wrong? Is it that the download i have is not compatible with the patch??

Both FifaStreet2-pal_ntsc-iso-patcher_v1.1.exe and FIFASTREET2.iso files must be in the same directory or folder.

 

It was in the same folder! I extracted the Rar file and got the ISO file then copied the patch into this folder, but i was getting that error message.

I copied and pasted both the patch and iso into My Documents from the extracted folder and bingo it has patched ok, just need to burn it now!

THanks alot gnie. I tried patching it because i thought i would turn it to ntsc, but it didnt work i got a black screen. I have a Magic 3.1 and its strage with PAL games. Do you have any advide for us with modchips that still cant get this game working?

 

Swap Magic 3++ can change the colour system (NTSC,PAL)
use video mode for those PAL game to ntsc(video mode to ntsc),
Press (SQUARE) although you can use X its advised that you use Square

if you have keep the un patch fifastreet2 iso,no need to unpatch.
you need windows ver of ppf-o-matic v3.0 software

To Apply a PPF-Patch is very simple. Just load in a PPF and the corresponding BIN/ISO file by clicking on the Floppydisk icons.

Or just open an Explorer window and Drag&Drop a PPF and a BIN/ISO file somewhere onto the PPF-O-MATICv3.0 window.

 

Alright thanks alot gnie.I applied the patch, and left apply undo patch data unchecked because i didnt know what it meant. So know ill burn it and tell you ow it goes.

 

if you already patched the v1.0 or v1.1 and unpatch the iso,it is for you to apply the new patch,cuz the lba already patched(you cant burn the unpatched ver,it wont works),you need to apply the patch again with v1.1 then burn on patched iso ver
