figured it out - macrovision protection

    Just figured out what was wrong. The VHS has MACROVISION copy protection. Does anybody know if there is a way to fool the DVD and make it read those videos and record it?

    what dvd player is it make and model number.
    sorry just found your original thread what you need is a macro disabler scart lead there around £30-£50/$55-$90 the last time i got 1 but they may have come down in price now.
