hey fellas, i'm in the process of converting my VHS tapes to dvd, using the WInTV USB 2 PVR 2.. i love this thing, and the quality i get is outstanding. however, the file sizes i end up getting are 5 gig files, and i dont want to lower the quality settings. is tehre a program that can shrink the file so that it can be copied to a 4.7 dvd disc? all of the videos are in .mpg format.. Thanks..
Most encoders will be able to do that for you. If you want something really easy I recommend Nero Vision. It will let you add the files you want and then encode them at the appropriate play speed and so on. There isn't much loss of quality.
