I used TMPGEnc to convert an avi to vcd. The resulting mpg needs to be split into two (or more) files, both of which will then be burned. Is VirtualDub the tool for this? I'm worried that the 2nd cd won't be readable by my dvd player. Many thanks for any help/advice.

Nope, in tmpgenc, click file - mpeg tools and click the merge and cut tab!

Thanks, Dela, I tried that. The result is that TmpgEnc won't recognize where I split the file. It seems that no matter where I say the first part is to end, Tmpgenc creates something much smaller. Only if I select the entire file will it give me back the correct length.
