    hey everyone-

im backing up my copy of "remember the titans", and when i opened it up with shrink, the file "red-barred". (with the compression settings at the lowest possible point, this dvd was still too big. im not sure exactly what to do at this point. i tried to reauthor the dvd using shrink, but i'll lose menu functionality. is there a program where i could remove the different screens and features from the dvd while still preserving the menu functions...?? any help would be awesome!!!
    thanks guys

    Re-Shrink.
Shrink the files to a Hard Disk folder.
    Then shrink those files.

Absolutely! And it's one of my favorites - DVD Stripper. It's a front-end for DVD Decrypter and IFOEdit so you'll need to install both of those. Here are a couple of links to get you started:

DVD Stripper download and basic instructions,

    http://www.dvdstripper.com/

    FAQ and many good tips,

Give the links a look-see, install the apps then play around with it for a bit. It's pretty straightforward but you need to be careful when removing menus. It's a good idea to run the finished files through a software player and check all the munu functions before you burn.

Have fun and pop back in if you have questions :)
