file types

    i opened a movie file and saw two files i didnt understand...one was .is file (not iso file).. and another .nf file Does anyone know what these files are?

    Sounds like the last characters of the file extensions have been dropped out, as .nfo and .iso make sense.. .nfo file is typically an "info file" defining who ripped and distributed the bootleg copy of the movie.
