Hi all, after reading various posts I ran across 1 that mentioned something about using Nero to change the file type from UDF to something else. This got me thinking......(or should I say STUMPED). What are the different file types? And what are they used for? I know that all of the movies that I have backed up so far show up as UDF when looked at via "E:" - "Right-click" - "Explore". Also,i'm curious to know about this "BOOKTYPE" I keep reading about. Is this a necessary step when backing up your movies?
hi not sure what you need? but dvds are wrote as udf/iso booktype changes +R format to dvdrom like -R for more compatibility in old dvd players
Thanks for the reply Rotary, I was just curious if there were other formats (prolly a better word) for DVD's.Just trying to get to know as much as possible so if and when I encounter some probs I will have enough ammo to deal with it.
