    Hi la161011
    Here's a guide on using Vision may help:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946

    Sounds like you may not have used the right option?
    Or may to PAL vs NTSC?
    If the format is different than the one you are in Nero will give you a message saying something like ' files in mostly pal format do you wish to keep this format?' click no & Vision will ocnvert to the format you are in.

    Shrink won't be able to open files like avi's - they would have to be converted 1st. This is where Nero comes in.

    Depends - if your players can play both formats than wouldn't make a diff. But sounds like they may not like the format.
    Which region or what country are in?

    Ok when you get that message click 'No' - this will convert them to NTSC format. Sounds like you clicked yes.
    Give that and go and let us know.

    @la161011
    Good to hear it's now playing!

    The pause bit could be the disc - the ones rbrock recommended are good stuff. Burn speed and firmware not up to date on the burner can also play a factor.
    Check the source file (avi you downloaded) too just in chance it may have a problem.
