Hi, I'm still having trouble useing programmes I downloaded as zip files. For instance, I downloaded microsoft word on p2p, it seemed to download ok but when I unziped it and clicked on install, it said something like " unable to run on dos". It had a whole bunch of other icons in the zipped file aswell. I'm only new to downloading programmes so i'm not that well up on what to do. I also downloaded a game and it was the same, when I unzipped the folder, I just looked for "install" or "run", but I just can't seem to get the programme up and running. Any suggestions on what I should do??

look for setup.exe as that is used in windows whereas install.exe is for dos

I see, thanks alot. So does that mean, when I download whatever in the zipped folder, just unzip it, look for setup.ex, click it and that should run the programme on my system??

I'm after deleteing word now cause I thought I couldn't use it but when I opened the folder and obiously used the install instead of exe. it never asked me for serial no's or key when I tried to start it up, but I also saw them available for download aswell. But with regards to say games, there should be no problem ?
