Final DVD copy freezes up, why?

    I just converted home video to DVD with SonicDVD. The problem I am having is when playing the DVD in my DVD player the movie will freeze up. It will play again and then freeze up or go really slow. I have a 768 Celeron Processor with 512 MB Ram. I am thinking maybe I need a faster processor? I have Radeaon 7500 w/64MB.     I would seriously consider an upgrade m8. My recommendations for an pc upgrade.
    Motherboard: Asus or MSI (AthlonXP)
    CPU: AthlonXP 1.7 or higher
    Ram: SD-DDR333 (PC2700)
    Video card: 8x cards are TOO expensive right now so maybe go with an ATI or nVidea 4x
    Sound card: (if not intregated) Sound Blaster Live
    USB 2.0 card, if not supported with motherboard
    DVD\CD-Rom: LiteON LTD 163/165/166 DVD-Rom
    CDRW: LiteON LTR 52x
    DVD Burner: LiteON
