Well what going here, i have NTSC Modded console ... when i boot Final Fantasy 12 PAL FRENCH ... it crash at the intro ... with 60hz mode but with 50hz mode it ok but the screen roll ... I have a tested with différent DVD-R ... at 2x write speed Confuse Plz can u tried you backup with a USA console plz !! Thx in advance
The NTSC version that I have Runs fine on my Modchipped V3 Ps2 and Fine on my V14 with Swap Magic 3.6 both consoles are PAL. I burnt it to a Princo DVD-R @4x.
i am interested as well about this, the game just don't seems to work at 60hz, maybe replacing the pal videos with the ntsc ones but i don't known how to do it.
anyways if anybody find a way to plays this fu..ing PAL game on a NTSC console let me know plz .. bcuz i modded *firstly my ps2 for play final fantasy 12 in french .. Thx Reakeem
Sorry for the long delay in my reply. I was just doing some research on this problem. I believe that your patching the game for the use of 60hz because your TV cannot support 50hz right? Well, from my understanding, the game will just crash after the intro due to some over-zealous in frames. Your only choice at this point I pressume, is to find a way to play it in 50hz only.
