stop complaining, who cares if it goes to xbox, i have both consoles and neither of them is perfect,
i think its a good idea that it is out on both consoles, all you bitches who are jus microsoft haters are jus complain cos you have nothing better to do (or you bum sony).
The Xbox Will Not Have Mandatory Installs, The Only Reason That The PS3 Has Mandatory Installs On Some Games Is Because Blue Ray Has Such Damn Slow Read Speeds And It Would Not Be Able To Load ALl The Data In Time.

Out Of The 2 Consoles I Believe I Will Have To Go With The Xbox 360 Over The PS3 Purely Because Of The Reliabilty,
Only Had 1 Minor Problem With A 360 Elite. Had 2 PS3's Sent Back Due To Overheating & 1 Because The Blue Ray Drive Would Not Work.

Looks To Me Like Microsoft Have Sony By The Nuts Here

I don't understand why you guys are so pissed though, Square will still be making money right? Which means they can fund future final fantasy games, which is no reason to complain.

Unless of course you believe that you wish now that you didn't fork over all that money for a PS3 because now more platforms got the game. It sounds more like buyer's remorse than Sony pride here.

I'm a pc gamer btw, but i AM considering buying an 80 gig ps3 soon now that there are price cuts.

Usually I avoid fanboy crap but this was too funny not to laugh my ass of at.

And you're very ignorant of what going multiplatform does to the quality of games. Read what Hunt720 said it pretty much sums it up.

And not having to load data off the media all the time is a good thing regardless of disk read speed and you twisting it to make the PS3 seem like crap, at least they planned ahead for the fault in technology.

Again sorry for the fanboy crap but his ramble was too ridiculous to let stand.

I am saddened by this but thats the name of the game. If Bioshock is coming to the PS3 what did you expect? I am a huge FF fan but they have been slacking since FF9. Atlus and the Persona/ SMT series have stole the show for me. I don't think that Microsoft had anything to do with it as much as Square did, if MS can't buy Yahoo, their new OS is trash, and their gaming system is infamous for RROD the what kind of threat are they ?

I agree that HDD installs help increase load times (or in the case of some games negate them), but to chime in with Blu-Ray having "slow read speeds" is uneducated at best. A Blu-Ray disc has to only read at 4X to beat a DVD drive's 12X.

If load times are an issue, then its good that Square will be focusing on the PS3 FIRST and then worrying about compression schemes for the 360's DVD9.

This was my issue with the title now being developed for 2 systems. It hurts IP integrity.

    I've included a drive-read speed chart:

Not too big of a FF fan but this was too unexpected as was GTA4's exclusive DLC. Let's see Microsoft, $75mil this time?

What are you on about ? Sounds like you've been unlucky with the PS3, but the fact is that Xbox360 has a higher failure rate. Almost 20% of all Xbox360s have at some point had the Red Ring of Death.
Please tell me how the Xbox360 is more reliable ?? Thats complete rubbish, based on your own unfortunate experiences.
