@xbill You can give dvd decrypter a shot - but may not work. In DVD Decrypter go to tools>drive>close>disc. http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ You can also post your error log from Nero to help with the burn failure. They can be found at program files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt Just remember to edit the serial #.

You are burning too fast, slow to 4X You also have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, uninstall and run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml I would also update to latest version of Nero 7.2.0.3b [bold]@binkie7[/bold] I tried to finalize a disc I had using DVDDecrypter and it failed, Cheers
@gwendolin Oh well was worth a try @xbill Free up some memory - no multi tasking and shut down any unncessary processes. For the burn speed try gwen suggestions of 4x. You have a good drive and are using great media if that works then I would go up to 8x.
@binkie7, I was watching this thread as I have a DVD that I want finalized, my DVD Recorder (JVC) for some reason didnt and WONT finalize it so I cant play in standalone...only my JVC recorder...bummer!

Keep the file size down to 4300 or 4360 MB.
@gwendolin I'll try and see if I can dig something up. Sure you weren't using CMC and that's why it can't be finalized :0) (j/k) The AXV is a virtual drive - alcohol I think - not an ide/atapi device.
