finallize with dvd decrypter

    how can i finallize with dvd decrypter?

    ummm....Can we have a little more information?? Like what exactly you are trying to do?? Are you burning with decrypter and it's not finalizing??

    iight i try to finallize it by going to tools then driver then close then track but everytime i try that i get and erro message it goes like this

    oh im sorry um im trying to finallize a dvd so it could play on my ps2 with out it freezing

    You don't finalize a DVD + or -R unless you burned it on a set top DVD recorder. DVD Decrypter automatically burns the leadout. It wouldn't play otherwise. You are either using crap media or one that's not compatable with your PS2. I have had really bad media that wouldn't finalize, but it also wouldn't play on anything including the computer. When I say finalize, I am talking about burning the leadout. There is nothing special to do to a DVD to get it to play on a PS2 other than using good quality media that is compatable with your particular model of PS2.

    i was using sony dvds that aint work on the ps2 i switched to memorex and that also sont work on it but they both work on the dvd player what u think i should do (if u think i should buy another media can you suggest one im using a lite on dvd burner)

    verbatim. are you sure you haven't been using rewritables ?

    i may be wrong but don't think ps2 would read them..

    so your saying that in order for it to work properly on the ps2 it cant be rewritable

    thanks for all thje help im goin to try to get them dvd you suggested but till then imma have to watch the movies in my dvdplayer

    yes ps2 lasers are very picky. Mine doesn't read rewritable discs at all, or DVD+R discs.

    mines reads them but they freeze at a surtain part of the movie

    i've only ever used -Rs in my PS2..

    and my (fantastic) cyberhome players won't play rewritables but i rarely use rewritables anyway
