Hi all, can anyone clarify how to change the save file size for Zelda please, I keep getting the "save file corrupted" meesage. I have a 16G Fire Card and have loaded firmware version 1.45. I have searched the forums for guides on doing this but they all seem a bit vague, or perhaps I'm just a bit dim....
I've tried the select L+R but that doesn't work, or I did it at the wrong place - not sure.
Can someone tell me what to press & where to do it to change this please.

    Thanks

Select L+R on the main games list screen.
    .
Did you try reformatting the card?
    .
is it just the Zelda game it does this with?
    .
Are you using the latest 2.54 software in the card?
    .
I had this problem once before, except it gave the 'corrupt' message for every game i put on it. It still played the games, but couldnt save anything. I gave it to my 5 year old nephew, and he's been playing with it happily ever since.
The card was broke. The company sent me a replacement & let me keep the original one too.
    .
Your card might be broke, old chap.
If the new up-to-date xmenu doesnt work, or the reformat, you might want to return it.

It wont hurt to try this DSLinker software:
Update(2007.08.28):DSLinker firmware 1.45 and New XMenu 2.53 Released.
    get it here:
    http://www.dslinker.cn/soft/
    .
The most recent firecards i've had have an even newer version, but i cant seem to find it on the net.
    .
i apologise in advance if my advice turns-out to be useless.

Sorry for the multiple posts, but i've just found something (which i didnt know existed till now) which might help you find-out if your card is knackered or not.
    Its on this page.....

.....and it's a little battery tester for your card.
Looks like you just load it into the card like a game.
Never tried it before....let me know how you get on.

Thanks all for your help, not sure whether it was just me with fat fingers or just not knowing what I was doing. Got it sorted now, I was trying to change the save file type by using the L+R buttons on the back of the DS, not the L+R on the keypad (+).

To all dimwits like me out there to change the save file size for Zelda (or Final Fantasy) - from the Fire card menu, with the game high lighted, (the top screen will show the game details including the save file type) press & hold SELECT, then use the L & R on the keypad to change the save file size to 4Mbit. Should be OK now.

    Hope this helps.

Many thanks to all who helped got me out of this hole. There's a great community out there helping folks like me - cheers to you all......
