I had a rather great ad remover but I lost it and cant recall tis name it could clean sites like Gamespot.com off of all ads and such can anyone help me find a repalcement?
Alright, There's Adblock and Adblock Plus. People say that Adblock Plus is better, but the regular Adblock works fine for me. It's your choice. It comes as a Firefox extension and works well. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1136/ If it doesn't block a particular ad, just right click it and select Adblock Image, and it's gone! EDIT: Another good extension is NoScript. It will block java pop-up ads, as well as other bad javascript.
