Last week I had the weirdest thing happen to me. I open firefox and notice that all of my bookmarks and all my settings were gone it looked like someone deleted everything but I am the only one that has access to this machine. I am thinking this happened because the day before I didn't shutdown properly luckily i had a back up and i was able to recover most of them. But I wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else?. And dose anyone know why this happened?
they're in your user data folder. theres a profile option some where. if you can find it, you may be able to just set your old profile as default.
this has happened to me NUMEROUS times.. id try some software or something that would cause my system to crash, after booting back up FF had reset all my bookmarks and everything.. I never did figure out what caused it or how to correct it.. I make sure to back up my bookmarks every now and then..
