I need a firewire card in my laptop.
I have an hp pavilion dv9500.
Can anyone suggest a card that i can put into my laptop. Also, since this is a laptop, i have no experience messing with the inside of one. If possible, can you give me a link or tell me yourself how this process goes?

    *Edit*
I just found this on the internet.

can you guys tell me if this ebay thing will help me. It looks right to me but i would like some professional opinions.

It is doubtful that you will be able to put one inside the laptop, but maybe you can get a card that slides into the slot, on the outside of the laptop.

I have no clue, but I would think that there may be a problem with the captured video, if it does work. You can give it a shot.

You need a regular firewire cable and card. Do not get the USB to Firewire.
