All of a sudden my 4pin and 6pin firewire ports are not *seeing* my external hard drive (connected to 6pin) and DV Can when connected to 4pin...seems to be for no reason. I used them, then 3 days later tried again and there is no recognition. In devices, the system says the pots are enabled and working?? Its the IEEE 1395 Bus controllers ...i think... HELP
if you have any other firewire devices try them out in the ports to make sure they are working correctly
unistall the fiewires in device manager & restart windows for it to find & load it's driver for the firewires.
