    5.55 & 6.00 Decrypter
    Description: The steps:

    1. Install 5.55 & 6.00 Games Decrypter like any other homebrew.
    2. Boot into 5.50 GEN’s recovery console by holding R-TRIGGER on boot.
    3. Go to Configuration -> XMB Usb Device -> change to UMD Disc.
    4. Enable USB mode from the XMB; copy UMD9660.ISO to your local; open UMDGen.
    5. In UMDGen open the UMD9660.ISO file.
    6. Navigate to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR; highlight EBOOT.BIN; right-click -> Extract Selected…
    7. Save it somewhere; boot into the recovery console again (See step 1); set the USB mode back to Memory Stick (See step 2).
    8. Enable USB from the XMB again; copy the encrypted EBOOT.BIN to your memory stick root.
    9. Exit out of USB mode and run the Games Decrypter app.
    10. Enable USB mode one more time.
    11. If you closed UMDGen, reopen it and open UMD9660.ISO; browse to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR.
    12. From the newly created DECRYPTOR directory on your memory stick, drag & drop the unencrypted EBOOT.BIN to the right windowpane in UMDGen overwriting the original file.
    13. Save the ISO; copy it to the ISO directory on your memory stick.
    14. You’re done.

just found this file on an iso website

Also with AFL challenge because not all games working because some games use some fact header on prx files.

you must upgrade from 5.00m33-6 to 5.50 GEN-A.-B,-B2 then it will work, it will NOT work with 5.00m33-6

    "loading eboot.bin...
    found PSP decrypted file :)
    cannot decrypt games eboot"
    what can i do?

So, Im still unclear on how this decrypter works, you NEED the UMD of the game?...or can you decrypt the/an ISO?

I'm so sorry guys, but i really need more help regarding this issue.... i have PSP2000 with FW5.00 M33-6 and I've Downloaded the 5.50Gen B and B2 updater...
I updated my PSP with both but there seem to be no difference!!!
I checked my system info and my firmware still shows 5.00 M33-6.
Is this normal??? Why doesnt it say 5.50Gen-B or B2????
After I've updated my PSP it saws update successful, but it doesnt show up in my system info....
Can someone tell me what I need to do or has my system been updated already???
If I copy Gran Turismo iso to my MS duo will it work??
I've tried to follow the guide and switched my PSP to UMd from Memory stick and pluged it into my comp, I then copied the 9660 file to my local drive... then wat do I do after that??? I can't find the GenUMD folder.... is it possible for someone to explain the step by step again more specific for ppls like me??? I know I'm a noob for asking thes questions but I really dunno how to work it... i have a few new games DL but just can't play it... GT, iL2 birds of prey, FIFA10, etc..... I really wanna play these games...
    Need help and advice...
thank you very much and i would really appreciate it if someone can help me further....
    Cheers

Ok, I've updated the 5.50Gen-A and then Gen B then B2....
My homebrew games all work fine and there's no problem, which I'm very happy about~~~
But GT still doesnt work.... how do I get it to work???
I don't understand the part in the guide where it says:
    extract UMDGen.... I don't have that file/folder...
    HOw do I encrypt GT.iso??
    I've already DL Yoshihiro's 5.55 & 6.00 decrypter, but i still don't know how to use it.... -_-'''
DO i copy it to my PSP MP_Root folder???
then what do i do after that???
I really need help with this as I've been tryin to figure this out for the last 2 days...
Now that I've finally token the courage to update my PSP Slim (2000) to Gen B2, i still dunno how to get GT to work...
once i know how to get it to work, I can also play my other new DLs like FIFA10, iL2 Birds of prey, etc... and I can also start to DL more new games....
I'm only stuck at the part where u need to decrypt the iso with Eboot.bin... cna someone please help me??
I can give u the site to my PSP game DLs for all your PSP gaming...
I know a very good site to DL the latest PSP iso/cso files... is the site I've been using this year to get all the latest games...
I'd really appreciate if someone can help me and in return i'll give u the site I use~ all PSP gamers would love this site!!!!
    Thank you very much!
    Cheers!

okay heres the deal, you must follow instructions given with the CFW in order for the CFW to work correctly.
in order to update to 5.5 GENB2, you must have 5.5 GEN B.
and in order to update to 5.5 GEN B, you must have 5.5 GEN A
in order to update to 5.5 GEN A you CAN currently be on 5.00 M33-6.
Ive done this update several times already and havent had any issues with it.

the ONLY game ive had a problem converting is "cloudy with a chance of meatballs", the orig iso is around 900M, but each one ive attempted to convert has been something from 31k to 536 M, very unusual!!! and yes this works for ISO's as well as UMD's but thats THE "touchy" subject, isnt it, you know better, dont ask.

if someone of more knowledge than myself could possibly enlighten me,
on what i may be doing wrong, or is UBISOFT actually doing something right, now?

P.s. if you need any of these file email me with your request in the subject, and try to keep it short.

Hope it helps you all out, now if only it could work for the 3000's I could get Junior off my back!!! (at least now he's well trained in keeping his psp on and charged!!! Christian irks his hyde because they want to play GI JOE, and i cant let them!! haha)

    Good Luck!!

dissidia hero dark days you can do it with, does final fantasy dissidia not work on 5.50 GEN-B2 without decrypting its more stable than GEN-A

Just checking don't think it's source of the problem but is your game a us version or European version. Because it was above tested on us version if you look at the graph above.
