when i first got my box i struggled to connect the box to my laptop with any lead as my laptop does not have a rs232 port, so i put the hard drive into an enclosure with USB connection and just copied and pasted the firmware into a firmware folder on the harddrive. This worked ok so was just wondering can i do this with the new fix or do i need to use the loader and cable? Your help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
