Firmware update of eurovox. nearly there, need advice.

hi there.

long time lurker and first time poster here.

i'm not a total noob but bear with me.

i've been following instructions for the firmware updade of my eurovox.

ive done 11 out of 12 steps bt an falling at the last hurdle so to speak. ive opened the loader, uploaded my data, restarted, downloaded and yadda yadda.

the problem is at he last step when it said i should reconnect to the flash loader and click download. the type of file is not recognised.

i'm sure i'm missing out on something simple of perhaps i'm barking up the wrong tree altogether. it's something to do with the cdf file not being recognised.

what should i do here to finsh the operation?

what am i supposed to do with the cdf file?

it'll only open in publisher.

 

cdf file is not even needed its a channel dump file its for diffrernt areas and providers so so it just saves you from scanning the box again and if you want to use it just load it up like you did the rest dont open it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9h5tlCZJHc if its a max v there is a video on this page as well
