    Your ATAPI CD-R/RW 4X4X32X "might" be a early Philips burner(4401). I say that with caution.

    I don't know but I once owned a ATAPI CD-RW 4x4x24 and found out it was a Philips 4202 model. Try a program called SiSoft Sandra 2003.
