hi all, i have a starview 1 receiver and was wondering the benifits from updating the firmware? i have had my starview for approx 3 years and never done it atall! would i be able to get more and differant channels through a search? and anything else to this?
if your in ireland you will not recieve any extra channels after firmware upgrade.if it aint broke dont try to fix it as the old saying goes!
what have you done everytime theres been a key roll? just entered the new keys manually? like the other guys say if everything is working fine dont bother, only major benefit is auto roll but if your all right doing it manually dont worry bout it.
