Since the demise of rpc1's index and database of firmware a new site has opened to fill the void. The site is set up as a searchable database and in the future will be linked to ImgBurn's check for firmware updates feature.

    http://www.firmwarehq.com

All firmware is original...no modified, hacked or region free etc. firmware will be hosted here.

Ah, neat.. I did wonder what happened to rpc1. And finding your way through the forums is a bloody nightmare!

However, The Dangerous Bros are still hosting over there:
    http://tdb.rpc1.org/

And Liggy and Dee's NEC firmware page is still going at CD Freaks:
    http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/

Not sure how up-to-date either of them are.

By the way, hey Scott :)

Thanks for those links Ripper. I've bookmarked 'em for future reference.

BTW, Hey Jack and hey Scott. ;)

    Hey 7th, no worries.

pernal, way to re-post most of the links already in the thread. codeguys isn't updated as far as I know (could be the same with The Dangerous Bros, but I don't know).

Not sure how recently this was made available, but rpc1 have put a database back up online:

    http://files.rpc1.org/

It is updated regularly, though, as the last firmware was added only yesterday. Yay for rpc1.
