First PS3 backup info released

Well after tomorrow morning I'm going to start playing ps3 again. If there is nothing by next saturday before I go to prom. I'm just gonna update to 1.50 so I can play nba street homecourt and go online if the bypass still works with 1.50.

 

man, you guys are funny. You didn't spend over $600 to just sit there and watch it, while you browse this forum trying to find a loader did you? Update the biatch and play online. I'm having a blast right now playing online. If its a machine, sooner or later it can be hacked regardless of what firmware you have. Just my 2 cents.

 

I dont know why not updating firmware is stopping people from playing online... just use simple DNS plus 14 day free trial and when your trial is up just do the uninstall trick everytime it expires and you will have another 14 days... ive been doing this since the day after i got my ps3 about a month ago.

 

what firmware is the lowest u can use to do the online trick? cause im gonna pick up motor storm and play nfl street home court im gonna go to 1.50 if there is nothing by sat.

 

I think you have to have at least 1.50 but my ps3 that i bought last month came with 1.50 so i didnt really have a choice... then i rented F.E.A.R. which would'nt load without updating to 1.51 so i just updated to 1.51.

There is a file called: "ps3.ferrox.iso.loader.rar"
Search BTjunkie for it. I can't test it even if I downloaded it since I haven't bought a PS3 yet. Do you guys already know what that file is? Is it another hoax like that "FERROX_v1.0_PS3_iSO_Loader.rar" one?
This one is 4MB large.

Ok, I was curious so I downloaded it anyway.
There is a txt file inside that says:

"Installation:

Copy to /PS3/OTHEROS/ on a memory stick, CD-R etc, with the $ony otheros.self, and run "Install Other OS" from Settings > System Settings of the XMB. Then set default boot to OtherOS, reboot, and it will run!"

Also there are two more files:

otheros.self
otheros.bld

Could this be it?!
Will someone try it?

I wonder if were gonna see an iso loader tomorrow morning right? If there is one it's going to be released tonight at midnight right? Idk but when I get back from watching 28 weeks later it better be there lol.

 

I wonder which midnight they were referring to. Are they Europeans? It's 22:39 on May11th here where I live.

 

I have no freaken idea. I'm gonna update to 1.5 if there's nothing. I want to play ps3 again. I think the last time i played it was like march.

 

I think it wont matter if you update to 1.50, but I dont think this ISO loader is going to be released. It just seems to go to be true, I originally didnt really like/believe Paradox but Im starting to think they are the only that have a loader thats anywhere near completion.

Its really ashame that some idiots that work with "paradox" would put there reputation on the line, claiming to have an ISO Loader and then NEVER releasing it, let alone even proving that it even exsist... All the NFO's in the world dont mean Shiot, if you cant show us..... I can write info in NFO's all day long claiming that if you give Redbull to the PS3 it will fly, but it wont...that I know of, someone please try it and let me know if it works.... Cause I believe the PS3 will grow wings and fly away before Paradox or Ferrox will release a working Loader... yeah notice I said "working".. Anyway.. I guess I'm through talking bout ISO Loaders here until one is released......

 

haha 28 weeks was awesome? i loved 28 days. i also hear that spiderman 3 is terrible, so i would suggest seeing an awesome movie. like Aqua Teen Hunger Force. that movie ruled. ive seen it three times :]

OMG, this blows! I was hoping that something would happen. If the loader did come out, where would you go looking for it?
