Fixing Bad Avi or Divx video

    Hi there

    I got a few movies from a friend in this format, all plays fine, except for one. I have tried divx repair, video fixer, noting works. It plays the first say 2-3 minutes, then it stops. Any ideas on what i can try to fix this currupt avi/divx movie ?

    Try VirtualDub, look for 'stable' download.
    http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/

    Drag the file onto the Window.
    If it loads ok, click 'Video' > 'Direct Stream Copy' > 'File' >'Save as AVI'
