download xboxhdm (harddrive manager) and reformat your pc hard drive then transfer over the linx files which your gonna need to make you pc hdd fit for the xbox, then your going to need to unlock your hdd write down any codes and dont lose them, the bst way to unlock a xbox hdd is to take the 80 pin cable off then power up your box and plug the 80 cable from the pc into it, make sure you have no other hdd conected to your pc only the CD/DVD drive and a floppy drive to use the hdd lock/unlock tool.
