Flash fxp wont connect

I tried connecting using flash fxp, all i get is no route to host. i dont understand i was workin 5 minutes ago. the xbox is still working fine. some please help

 

does your xbox still have an ip?
Is the xbox set to static ip or dhcp?

 

yea the ip still show on the dashboard 192.168.etc. it is set on dynamic. what should it be set on. drivin me crazy

 

its fine set to dhcp as long as the pc has a static ip - if it was working fine a while ago everything is set up okay.

what does the xbox connection say in network connections on the pc?

 

what kind of dashboard are u using?

 

Simple way to use crossover cable. And follow this

PC:
IP 192.168.1.11
Subnet 255.255.255.0

Xbox: Static ( NOT DHCP )
IP 192.168.1.111
subnet 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.11

EVERY THING ELSE IS BLANK.

I couldnt get anything to work. so unplugged the xbox and went to school and when i got home it worked. thanks for all the info.
