flash update fail on starview 3 the box super

    im trying to flash the gtrom v8.00e to my starview 3 box.ive read numerous pages on the forums read all celtics information got the cables he mentioned in his post and am still getting flash update fail.my box is api version 7.08e boot version 8.0 18 apr 2008.im using a null modem cable going to a usb into my computer running on windows vista.im running out of ideas so any help would be sound.

    Do you know anyone who has xp on their pc? There seems to be alot of problems with vista when trying to flash boxes.
    BTW, celtic is a she ;)
