My friend accidently flashed my friends xbox bios... now when we turn it on the indicator is just blinking red/green. Can anyone help us from here. We have found out that we need to install a new bios, however we don't know how we are doing that. Can anyone help us, give us a link etc. Hope someone may be able to help us, Bjarne.

To have flashed the Xbox BIOS, at lest some level
of hardware modification must have occurred, as it
is shipped with hardware write protection.

Therefore, the Xbox warranty is void. The only way to recover the machine to a usable state is to utilize a mod chip with an onboard BIOS, and/or BIOS programmer.

You may or may not be able to find a copy of the
original BIOS online. You may be able to find a
modified BIOS which will allow you to play Xbox
games, but that will likely cause Xbox Live to
    fail miserably and possibly permanantly.

A Linux-compliant BIOS, Cromwell, will run
Linux, but will not run Xbox games.
