Flashed my Pioneer DVR-106D with 1.06 firmware...

    After the flash the blasted thing will not burn ANY RW media properly. I have tried both Verbatim and Memorex and no dice. When I try to erase them (Nero, Record Now)I get an error just before it finishes then it is ejected. Last time I update firmware unless it is absolutely necessary.

    got to http://forum.rpc1.com and see if you can downgrade your firmware again. There have been a few problems with that firmware i believe.

    My friend & I both flashed to 1.06 firmware and have not experienced any problems. We both using Nero 6, InCD 4053, RecordNow Max 4.5. Not using RecordNow Max DLA.

    Just tested erasing and burning, it worked.

    I guess we're lucky !
