I am trying to extablish a connection between my Xbox and pc. I have chosen Flashxp as the program to do this with. I have the basics from reading other threads that I need to enter the IP address of my xbox (yes it is modded) into Flashxp (under quick connect)along with password xbox and when I enter it in initially says it is connected but displays no information on the Xbox hard drive. A few seconds later it says the connection is lost. I know this must be something simple so could someone please fill me in on what I am missing. Also a quick lesson on where I need to put files on the xbox so that I can use them would be helpful. I want to put config magic on my box so I can lock the hard drive. I am told this will enable me to play on xbox live. Any input there would be helpful too. Thanks in advance.
I should also add that I am connected using a switch where the switch is hooked to both the Xbox and PC.
turn on your Xbox, make sure you are viewing the screen that has the network settings on it, I use EVOX dash. if all settings are correct and you show a connection on your PC. Try restarting the Xbox and FTP software. I have the same problem, when you click on "CONNECT" in FlashFTP the folders of your Xbox HDD should show up instantly, if it says trying to connect it isn't going to work, like I said simply restart the software or Xbox unit and it should connect.
