I have been working on flashing my 360 for a week now with little luck, and a whole lotta frustration. I started using Jungleflasher 1.67 but my computer doesnt recognize the drive at all. I think if someone could help me figure out what to do to get it to recognize the drive I would be ok. I have gotten the drive to go to ModeB with a slax disk but its pointless if my computer doesnt recognize the Hitachi drive. I have a Hp Pavillion running on an intel chipset. PortI032 driver is installed. I have it installed on both Windows xp and windows 7 drives that are in my computer.
i have a 79 also and believe that u also need the 79 unlock disc...run the track once than start it the next time and pause it instantly...ive done this a few times and always had my drive recognized by windows
jungleflasher 1.67 should be able to send your drive into mode b with the click of a button, once that happens, press refresh and your hitachi should be recognized, then insert the unlock disc, and press unlock
