Flashing benq with ix 1.41.. Do i need to use their org. FW or can I use my org. FW for the key??

i dont have theirs in my possesion yet.. Just trying to get a jump on things however.. Can i just use my orginal firmware when extracting the key for ixtreme 1.41 or do i need to use their original firmware??

question 2: what "speed (X)?" folder do i use when doing the firmware key change and firmware flash??

3. why have all of these choices of speed foleders anyways..

i should say im doing this on another 360 that i dont have in my possession yet.. Figure youd all get that though..

u need to use there Org.Bin and use there key in the ixtreme firmware

And its for what speed u want it to read the disc at

 

what speed do you recommend for durability and reliability?

 

I Got Both My BenQ Drives on 8X and havent had a problem yet, i only use Verb DL Dvds

 

thx. i tried the "search" before posting this thread and couldnt find a thing,,, then i did. some are saying the default is 12x and thats been workinfor them. i might go 8x though..

I use 8x allows you to use cheaper dual layers =)
