flashing bios with softmods?

ok i read somewhere that you can flash your bios with a softmod to make it read as you have a modchip and that way you can have all the benefits of a chip without having one. can anyone enlighten me?

 

I don't even see how that can be remotely possible, a softmod works in a completely different way than a chip.

 

thats what i was thinking but i wasnt sure, but if anyone thinks it is possible please tell me

 

you can use softmodding software to flash your bios of the chip and some people do that with AIDeluex but for the life of me i do NOT know why they do.

why do you want to flash the bios in a softmodded xbox softmod is the same is a modchip

 

If you want to have a different flubber startup screen, then you need the benefits of a modchip.

But that's just one thing I can think of.

ok well i have the newest AID and Slayers disc but i cant get it to flash anything
