Hi guys I got a starview clone (I think) anyway I want to flash the unit. What sort of Equipment do I need, Cables, connection etc? How do I actually do it If I flash the box do I not need to keep getting new codes from the net? Thanks
hi there are 3 ways press menu type 1570 with your remote scroll to where it says nagravision press ok and enter codes you can get from this site or get a pal with a starview box that works join his to yours via a null modem cable put your box in standby switch on your pals box which should be connected to a tv switch on your pals box ensure yours stays in standby at all times press menu on remote scroll to sw transfer and transfer software that way or on this site find gtrom.exe download it then starview2007.api down loadit for this you will need an usb to serial connection lead which you attached to your null modemlead usb end in your pc null modem end in box when done open gtrom do not enter anything in the spaces you will see open com port and flash
