flashing from laptop

    hi all, i have looked at the threads and cant seem to find a answer, hence new thread. does anybody flash there boxes using vista? a friend is trying on his laptop with no joy. i use xp (desktop) and dont have any problems. cheers in advance

    hes more than likely using the wrong driver for his usb to serial
    Force vista to use this one

    oh and turn uac off

    if its a digivox t ya have to use xp i had to but when i flashed a drembox id no problems using vista

    No you don't, I've never flashed a box with anything other than Vista, boxes I've done
    Starview 1,2,3, T
    Digivox XL, T
    Dreambox
    DBox2
    Kryptview
    Eurovox (all models)
    Replay lite
    the list go's on
