Is this first time flashing this drive? or are you doing a reflash update?

    I have liteon dvd-drive and via vt6421 pci-card.
When i'm trying to flash the drive it starts to hang
in the erasing part. I disabled via drivers but the same thing
happens again. Am i doing something wrong or is it just the crap
    pci-card?

in the list it also says
    file not found - key.bin
    file not found
    file not found - dummy.bin
    file not found
[error file backups/1234567/12345/dummy.bin does not exist program aborted]

do you think its not reading the key? any problem with the drive?
or its not pushed in correctly i tried it half way and tryed it a little further aswell

i had a similar problem with jungle flasher the key was not good and gave me a bunch of 0s but that can't no longer find my com3 port anymore

tell me if i am connecting the probe the right way the blue power cord connected to ck3 and the small wire on blue power cord connected to the probe with a solid blue and green light on the probe

Get your key, inquiry, identify and dummy bin from JungleFlasher
Make the hacked FW and save it. It'll save as Lite_CFW.bin

Erase everything you have off that boot disk and copy DOSFLASH 1.7, l-o-eras.exe and your Lite_CFW.bin to it

Boot from it and run l-o-eras port$ until you get status FF72
Then run dosflash and follow instructions.

i thought you do that at the end of jungleflasher, im having a problem at the begining when i have to stick the probe in the drive to read the key,
i have a blue and green light solid on my probe i heard it is defected on this site

    http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48534&page=2
im guessing this is the reason why i cant read my key

im using the boot method instead because jungleflasher cant read my com3 usb

    You have to make own.
Because every key is unique on
    the xbox 360.

can i use the Lite_CFW.bin firmware from xbins? or do i have to make my own?

it sounds like a defective probe the esiest way i have found up to now is via dos i use iprep i use the probe just bridge out the 707 point i solder it then desolder when finished open the the drive halfway (go fully then close half) prepare ur iprep flash (use iprep v008.8) boot to dos of the flash drive
    hit the command as promted

dlit ******* ***** follow instructions until you back to the c/
boot to windows back up inquiry.bin identify.bin key.bin and dummy.bin
boot back to dos and proceed with flit ******* *****
    easy!

for a good vid tut search cofree he is on robin hoods playground
    hope this helps

ps firmtool will automatically create the dummy.bin and litcfw.bin which u will be prompted to save it as it will insert ur unique d-key .

Lite_CFW is your custom firmware with your Key etc etc imbedded in it.

There is no original Lite-ON firmware. Once you have pulled the valid data from the Lite-ON via the R707 with a Lite-ON key reader, you will have a dummy bin. Then you take your dummy bin and spoof it to ix1.51 for Lite-ON. At that point, JF will prompt you to save YOUR CUSTOM FIRWMARE. EXAMPLE: Lite_CFW.bin

If you want a 360 shaped DVD player you can use that one.

You need the key from your original Lite-on BEFORE you write/erase your drive.

Read the tutorials there are hundreds of them.
