Hi Guys, looking for help in flashing my replay lite.
I have downloaded all the files required and have the null cable. I have attached the box to the laptop via the usb cable and have ensured the usb to serial port is set to com1, however the stblink setup comm option starts to connect but fails and gives a connection error. This will be my first flashing of the replay lite so any help would be welcome. Alternatively anyone in the Clondalkin area willing to flash the box for me would be even better?

You need the 28122008 firmware from eamos library, with stblink 5.32, as cathaldub said.

Hi Evastar, have all the files already downloaded from emos library. Dont know why it wont make the connection, I have re-checked the com port and can confirm only com3 is in use so allocating com2 should work - probably something simple but just cant work it out.

cant really be sure but I did ask for it by part number in maplins - looking at it now there is no part number on it, it says usb serial converter. Is there any way I can check it out, it does look like the one shown in the picture - blue connections at either end?

Just had a thought, my null usb cable is usb to serial male connection, but as the laptop connection is also male, I put a gender changer connection on it. Could this be it, should I be using a full db9 cable attached to the usb device?

    you have a usb device?

are you using vista and a laptop?

if at all possible, try and get to a pc with xp and the 9 pin connection, will work like a dream.

Lots of people have had problems with using usb drivers.

Your on NTL and those channels are no longer broadcasted on the Nagravision1 stream that your box is using, you need a different box
