flashing thebox pvr

Hi, have thebox pvr. I take the steps below but it keeps failing to flash. When I switch on the box ...-31- briefly appears, then the lines circle the display and then 0101 is on the display. any help please. I have the pvr loader and firmware "boxpvr_e_v4506_150ct.rar"

1) Connect PC & STB with Serial Cable
2) Off & On with A/C Power on the rear panel.
3) Once display ‘ on ’ on the front panel,
Press ‘ OK->Exit->OK->Exit->OK->Exit ’ on the RCU.
4) Display ‘B-30 or B-31’ ( ready to download message ) on the front panel.
5) Access the ‘PVR Loader v3.36 Sep 7 2005.exe’ Select new Firmware
6) Download.
7) Automatically upgraded & re-boot

 

As regards the Loader and Firmware, there is a Later Loader and the updated Firmware for your box is the 24/12/08 release, and you will find them at the link >>>

Now I have not got a Box PVR to hand so I will not attempt to lead you any further, but I would advise you to look for jbvideo, sure he will help you on that box.
