i was wodering if you need a pci via sata card to flash the xbox 360 dvd drive but if i have a sata port on my motherboard do i still need the pci via sata card to flash the xbox 360 drive ?
um this has said a lot. in perticular by me. First off you need to know what dvd drive you have, and im not telling you how to do that. look. second there is a possibility you can flashe it that way but its not a gaurentee and im not sure on what the chances you might brick your drive(depending on model) are. I just bought a pci sata card for $ 4 the other day.
yeah i know what drive it is but isnt the only reason you get the card if u dont have a sata port on your pc ?
no. I have sata ports on my mobo but i dont want to risk brick. Plus its only cost a total of like $8. And i have patience.
