Does anyone know where I can download Flashme v7 specifically for the DS Lite? I've looked everywhere and the official providers are currently down. I have already flased my Lite with v7 but found out later that I used the regular DS firmware and can't change the back light levels(only can toggle between off and level 3). I wonder if it is safe to to re-flash my Lite from v7 to v7(for Lite) without any problems since I hear that downgrading firmwares(from v7 to v5 for example) can be bad.

I didn't realise there was a noflashme that retured a DS Lite to normal (keeping the backlight control) can you confirm it does do this?

i guess i can't, haven't tried. i thought it works that way, and the files were ment for lite, so ... anyone wanna try?

EDIT: from another forum sayin that noflashme is actually restoring lite firmware?

Hey, Nikeboy. Can you send me the normal Flasme V7 for the DS Lite? I'd appreciate it.

take your e-mail off the board, it's against the rules to post an e-mail, here's a link you can download it:

    www.hot.ee/anc23/flashmev7 (3 versions).zip

sorry you have to copy-paste it :)

i'm not sure that noflashme restores your original lite firmware as it was when you bought it. So make some research on it if you decide to use it.

Stadard flashmev7 worked on my ds lite well, and had 4 levels of brightness aswell.

Thanks! I just simply reflashed my Lite without having to go back to the orginal firmware. Just flased over the regular V7 firmware. Now I have my 4 level settings back.

    I used "flashme.nds"

"flashme_stealth.nds" is the one that leaves health warning screen untouched, so after flashing it would look like unflashed ds.
