I got a new samsung 19 inch flat panel monitor, and it has a pretty bad motion blur. Whenever I move the mouse, there is a trail even though I have the trails off, and when I play games, whenever I move it blurs. I have a crappy pci graphics card, am using the monitor at a 1280 by 1024 resolution, and tried it with both analog and digital (my monitor can do both) and both have the motion blur. I think it could be the crappy graphics card but I am not sure. Could I please have some help here?
try it on another computer to see if it is the monitor or videocard but try it on an agp videocard not pci!!
thanks again for the quick reply ddp Will do I'm building a new comp with a pci-express graphics card, so if its the graphics card, I wont bother to buy a new one for this comp.
you say that every time, don't you? It worked btw. There was no flickers when i tried it on my brothers comp with a 64mb agp graphics card.
it is 1 of my trademark sayings just like "do you hear the thunder approaching" is my other saying for spammers. i gave you direction in what to do so that you taught yourself something & you learned something. teach & learn
It's also the only words ddp knows how to spell correctly...his Teach & Learn saying!!! <G> As far as your monitor goes, it should not have that trail effect that you are speaking about, and my guess is that it is your graphics card as ddp suggested.
