Flexing How does it work???

    I have v505 and i am interested in changing the firmware as im told other phone's firmware can be loaded on to phones and some will lock your phone to a Service Provider. If anyone knows of a flex that will unlock or lock my v505 to cingular could you please let me know

    no flex exsist that unlocks your phone. If you had the phone for 3 months email cingular for the code
    simunlockcode@cingular.com

    the flexes you are talking change how the phone appears and operates. It depends on who made it weather it relocks your phone or not.

    the phone is already locked to AT&T but I want to lock it to cingular so i can use it

    does it not say cingular on the screen , My brothers att phone does

    no it is locked to at&t an doesn't accept my sim card
